Emmys: HBO, NBC Lead Creative Arts Emmys
HBO led the Creative Arts Emmy Awards, with 16 wins at the Primetime Emmy
Awards precursor, held Sept. 14 at the Nokia Theater LA Live in Los Angeles.
The pay cabler's original film Grey Gardens and miniseries Generation Kill
grabbed three awards each.
NBC racked up 11 awards, including guest-actor awards for Tina Fey's
impersonation of Sarah Palin and pop star Justin Timberlake's hosting turn on
Saturday Night Live.
PBS' Little Dorrit took home the most awards for a single program, with four
wins. ABC's Pushing Daisies received three awards.
In the guest drama categories, Ellen Burstyn won for her appearance on NBC's
Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, and Michael J. Fox for FX's Rescue Me.
The 61st Primetime Emmy Awards will be held Sept. 20 at the Nokia Theater
LA Live in Los Angeles, and broadcast on CBS.
